Now, I’ve taken these pictures hoping I can learn how to make a ketupat (rice wrapped in palm leaf usually goes with satay). I have tried using a paper ribbon criss-crossing one another… I couldn’t do it. I only end up with a tangle.
This lady (down at a Green Road coffee shop) made it so easy! She does the empty ‘shell’ then her husband would fill it with rice. He said it’ll need to cook for a couple of hours before the ketupat is ready to eat.
I wish… I wish… I WISH… I know how to make a ketupat!!!!! 😦
I love ketupat with my satay kambing (lamb)… onions… cucumber… aiyooo! Hungry already!
