What has Sabah got to do with Sarawak? Well, a bit of diversion here 😉 I couldn’t resist these pictures taken by my dear ol’ dad who went on “pensioners’ excursion tour” last week. (Let me see what I can dig up from his picture folders and post it here)

Mount Kinabalu towers 4,095 meters (13,435 ft) above sea level. It is possible to climb to the top and back in less than 4 hours but most climbers would stay overnight at Laban Rata (3,273meters above sea level) and start off the final stage at 3am to catch the sunrise at the peak.
