Patches of small-scale vegetable farms were seen along the Kuching-Serian Road at 24th mile. That plate of fried kailan (Chinese kale/broccoli) I had for lunch must have come from one of these farms 😉
I have to give my hat off to these farmers who toil their land even under the noon time sun.
So the next time you eat your veggie, remember the hard work put into growing it. Be thankful and finish all that veggie on your plate!! 😛
