Miri, Mulu not well-known in Singapore: DCM

MIRI: Deputy Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Dr George Chan was surprised that this city and Mulu are not well-known in Singapore despite the world heritage status of Mulu Caves.
“A lot of people in the republic including the chief executive officer of Jet Star have not even heard of Mulu and this (to me) is something quite disturbing in the sense that if Singaporeans do not know about it, what to say about others?” said Dr Chan yesterday.

This is one of the sad stories of Sarawak. We have so much to offer, jungle for trekking, rivers for rafting/kayaking, beautiful cultures to partake… laksa for breakfast, kolomee for lunch and kueh-chap for dinner!! And nobody outside Malaysia has heard of Sarawak!! I’m heart-broken indeed!!!! 😐
