Aaaahh… the ‘slide’ of Kenyalang Commercial Centre. I presume every kid growing/grew up in Kenyalang has done the same thing on these low concrete walls. I know I did and loved it too.

For me growing up in Kenyalang Park during those days where toys, with a great deal of innovation/imagination, were made up of mum’s old melamine bowls, empty cans, slippers and shoes, tree branches and anything we could find in the garden. There wasn’t a park with swing or seesaw in our area (Traffic Garden didn’t have that). So these small walls were just the right height to do my balancing act and ‘slide’ whenever I visited Kenyalang centre 😉
